On-Site IT/Network Manager

<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Bon Appetit is the category leader in the production and distribution of premium baked goods. As a result of our continuous expansion, we are searching for a highly effective <b>on-site</b> Information Technology Manager.</p><p><b>NO REMOTE WORK AVAILABLE</b></p><p>For this critical position, we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who has a detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practices and a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Overseeing and ensuring that computing systems and equipment are operating effectively and efficiently.</li><li>Maintains information technology strategies.</li><li>Managing & motivating the IT staff.</li><li>Recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.</li><li>Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.</li><li>Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Creating and maintaining IT policies for employees and business partners.</li><li>Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.</li><li>Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.</li><li>Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.</li><li>Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.</li><li>Generating performance reports for operating systems.</li><li>Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.</li><li>Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network recovery plan.</li><li>Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of experience as an IT Manager.</li><li>A Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science, MIS or similar field.</li><li>Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems & Microsoft Office Software, ERP & MRP Systems, barcode based inventory systems.</li><li>Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.</li><li>Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.</li><li>Mobile Applications, PC & RF Scanning terminal expertise.</li><li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Must be able to handle confidential information with the complete confidence of management.</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk and hear. <i>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions</i></li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><p>Employee participation.</p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
