We’re united by a shared commitment to excellent and equitable health care.<br><br><strong><strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong></strong>Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.<br><br><strong>Experience<br><br></strong>Not Applicable<br><br><strong><strong>Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Post-graduate course in ICU nursing or equivalent experience required.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Certification/Licensure/Registration<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Current CRNM registration required.</li><li>Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.</li><li>Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications And Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).</li><li>If there are no applicants meeting the qualifications, the employer may consider an applicant who does not meet the above qualifications.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Physical Requirements<br><br></strong></strong>Not Applicable<br><br>St. Boniface Hospital is committed to empowering a workforce that welcomes and celebrates diversity by fostering culturally safe places for all employees.
