Motorcoach Driver – Part-Time

SOUTHLAND Transportation is currently seeking part-time Motorcoach Drivers to join our team in Saskatoon. Available work includes various charters throughout the province (school field trips, hockey teams, etc.), and BHP employee transportation either on the BHP Jansen mine site or to the Jansen mine site. Motorcoach Drivers are responsible for safely transporting clients and providing superior customer service. Effective communication skills, patience, and superior navigation skills are all attributes that will help you succeed in this role.

This position offers approximately 10 – 20 hours per week. Shifts can include days, evenings, weekends and overnights.

Wage: $28.00 per hour

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate various charters throughout the province
  • Drive safely and responsibly; be prepared for all road conditions
  • Ensure compliance with Hours of Service
  • Pre-and-post trip checks, fueling of the coach
  • Complete all applicable paperwork

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Class 1A driver’s license
  • Previous motorcoach experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Organized, punctual, and reliable
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Calm, pleasant, and helpful manner
  • Excellent driving skills and habits
  • Superior map reading and navigation skills
  • Commitment to excellence in customer service
