We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, an Israeli mining company, for a Project Manager to lead the development and operation of a gold mine in central Tanzania.
Role Description:
As the Project Manager, you’ll be in charge of building and managing the gold mine along with its gold processing plant. This full-time, on-site role in Maluga is ideal for a professional skilled in mine engineering.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading a team, planning budgets, coordinating with various stakeholders and government authorities, overseeing mine construction and processing operations, negotiating with gold buyers, and optimizing production processes.
Qualifications:
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• A background in mine engineering or a related field, preferably in gold mining.
• Capacity to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to balance on-site management with high-level negotiations and communications.
• Demonstrated ability in project management
• Familiarity with regulations in the mining sector is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
