Further, the incumbent will be responsible for assistance to ad hoc projects determined necessary by the BMO Metals Vault Supervisor.</p><p><b>General Description:</b></p><ul><li>Operate in the functional areas of receiving, shipping, secure storage / distribution of precious metals, and logistics.</li><li>Interface with other business units to effectively implement strategies and work towards business objectives</li><li>Responsible for completing physical movements and staging of incoming and outgoing product</li><li>Work within company policies and operating procedures </li><li>Ensure compliance with BMO health and safety policies, and government regulations</li><li>Conducting regular audits and maintaining the integrity of controls</li><li>Adhere to security, policies and procedures to support the ongoing security<br />standards of the business as well as supporting changes to operating procedures</li><li>Comply and assist in all Security related investigations</li><li>Provide inventory control management and perform daily vault balancing routines</li><li>Adhere to the PM storage vault standard operating procedures including end of day balancing processes and reconciliation</li><li>Work with all levels of Management to complete the given directives of the Company</li></ul><p><b>Skills & Experience:</b></p><ul><li>High analytical skills for reporting, balancing, and reconciliation</li><li>General knowledge in precious metals industry, including, but not limited to, LBMA, COMEX guidelines, global refineries, metal types, forms, and assays</li><li>High analytical skills for divisional support within the operation</li><li>Familiar in precious metals verification and weighing techniques</li><li>Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-based environment</li><li>Previous banking experience-an asset</li><li>Understanding of business unit’s risk and regulatory requirements</li><li>Ability to be organized in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous and conflicting requests with a focus on detail and accuracy</li><li>Demonstrated customer service excellence</li><li>Excellent verbal & written communication skills</li><li>Data and results driven decision making</li><li>General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications</li><li>General knowledge of health and safety guidelines</li><li>Quality orientation</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Must Haves:</b><br />- Physically able to <b>lift up to 50lbs</b><br />- Previous logistic experience desired<br />- Knowledge of standard desktop applications (i.e. Excel, etc.) and department systems and applications<br /><br /><br /> </p><p></p><p><p><p><p><p><p><p><p ></p><p ><b><span>Salary</span></b><b>:</b></p></p></p></p></p></p></p></p>$45,500.00 - $84,500.00<p ></p><p><p><p><p><p><p><p><p ><b>Pay Type: </b></p></p></p></p></p></p></p></p>Salaried<p ></p><p >The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.</p><p ></p><p >Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
