Position Overview: As a Medical Radiation Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team by performing diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy and compassion. Your expertise will ensure high-quality patient care and contribute to the efficient operation of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and/or MRI scans.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program.
Currently staying and with at least two years experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist in Canada
Current registration with the CAMRT (Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists).
Experience in X-ray, CT, and/or MRI imaging techniques preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
