Our team works collaboratively to deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based care. </p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and organized <strong>Temporary Part Time Medical Office Assistant (MOA)</strong> to support our clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about healthcare, enjoys administrative work, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. The MOA will play a key role in facilitating smooth clinic operations, ensuring quality service delivery, and enhancing patient experiences. </p> <p>This position is part of a newly developed Innovation Fund between the Saskatchewan Government and medical clinics across Saskatchewan with the aim of improving patient access and quality care through team-based support, that will deliver better access to primary care in the province of Saskatchewan. This position is temporary until March 31, 2027, with the possibility of an extension.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform medical transcription and maintain accurate clinical documentation </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Schedule appointments and manage patient flow using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Greet and register patients, update demographic and insurance information </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prepare and maintain patient charts and confidential records </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Manage communications (calls, emails, faxes) in a professional and timely manner </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assist with patient referrals and outcome tracking using PROMs </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Order and organize office and medical supplies </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and confidential work environment </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Support clinic quality improvement and workflow initiatives </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions</li></ul> <ul> </ul> <p><strong></strong></p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Diploma in Medical Administrative Assistant from a recognized institution </li> <li>Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or general office setting (clinical preferred) </li> <li>Experience conducting ECGs and Spirometry is considered an asset </li> <li>Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check </li> <li>Excellent keyboarding and data entry skills </li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems </li> <li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills </li> <li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team </li> <li>Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care approach </li> <li>Cultural sensitivity and awareness in working with diverse populations. </li> <li>Understanding medical terminology and clinical procedures is an asset. </li> <li>Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>Erindale Health Centre is an inclusive and culturally responsive clinic, which provides meaningful and community-based healthcare.
