Mechanic / Shop Technician
North Western Property Maintenance (NWPM) Cloverdale, BC
NWPM is hiring a full-time Mechanic / Shop Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, trailers, small engines, and landscaping equipment. This is a key role that supports both our Construction and Maintenance divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, trailers, skid steers, small engines, and landscaping equipment
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance
- Track parts, inventory, and repair records
- Keep the shop organized, clean, and safe
- Support field teams with quick turnaround on repairs
- Occasionally assist with welding/fabrication tasks (asset, not required)
- Valid drivers license (required)
- Experience with automotive, diesel, or small-engine repair
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
- Reliable, organized, and safety-focused
- Welding or fabrication experience is an asset
- Fleet or landscaping equipment experience is an asset but not required
