As a Materials Lab Supervisor in Cambridge Ontario, you’ll lead operations at one of our large-scale laboratories, ensuring technical excellence and driving innovation in testing programs for concrete, soil, aggregate, and asphalt. Your Impact
- Lead and manage day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with WSP standards.
- Oversee execution of testing programs, including sample preparation, equipment calibration, and data integrity.
- Validate and review test results to guarantee accuracy and consistency for client deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to align lab activities with timelines and expectations.
- Champion continuous improvement in workflows, resource allocation, and quality control processes.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- More than 5 years of hands‑on experience in asphalt, concrete, and geotechnical laboratory operations.
- Proven leadership in technical or supervisory roles within large‑scale lab environments.
- Strong knowledge of ASTM, CSA, and LS testing standards, with experience in CCIL certification processes.
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance, calibration, and proficiency testing programs.
- Type C & B CCIL Certification considered an asset.
