Our busy steel fabricating shop is looking for material handlers to join our weekend shift team. We require reliable and dependable, self-starter, a team player who is detailed-oriented to assist in the production directly or indirectly, and able to perform wide variety of tasks being assigned. The schedule will be Friday to Sunday, 12 hours a day, you will be paid for 40 hours. You will also receive a bonus at the end of the year.
Experience working in the shop or similar settings is a must. In addition to, an ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, be able to follow directions, or be able to work with minimal directions, can work individually or with the team and has a WHMIS Training Certificate or willing to get one (we will assist you to get certified).
Desired Skills & Experience
· Overhead Crane experience
- Forklift certification/experience
· Wire wheeling with grinder
· Experience working in the shop and comfortable around fabrication equipment
