<p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>SVG Ventures | THRIVE is seeking a highly motivated <b>Marketing & Events Associate</b> to help amplify our mission of advancing global agri-food innovation. In this role, you will support the execution of impactful marketing initiatives and world-class events that connect startups, corporations, investors, and thought leaders.</p><p>Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a key role in delivering campaigns, managing events, creating content, and analyzing performance - ensuring our brand presence continues to grow across the global agri-food ecosystem.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Roles & Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Marketing Campaigns & Content Creation</b></p><ul><li>Plan, coordinate, and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web.</li><li>Manage social media accounts, including content creation, copywriting, scheduling, and community engagement.</li><li>Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.</li></ul><p><b>Design & Branding</b></p><ul><li>Design and develop high-quality marketing materials using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.</li><li>Create engaging graphics, presentations, and social media content that align with brand guidelines.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with design trends to maintain a modern and consistent visual identity.</li></ul><p><b>Events & Community Engagement</b></p><ul><li>Support the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events, including vendor management, speaker preparation, and on-site activities.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure flawless delivery of events such as global conferences, pitch days, and networking sessions.</li></ul><p><b>Analytics & Reporting</b></p><ul><li>Analyze campaign performance and generate reports on key metrics (conversion, engagement, click-through rates, etc.).</li><li>Use tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to optimize future campaigns.</li><li>Assist with SEO best practices and website optimization for thriveagrifood.com.</li></ul><p><b>Administrative & Team Support</b></p><ul><li>Provide day-to-day support for the marketing team to ensure smooth operations.</li><li>Assist with database management, scheduling, and other administrative tasks as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications & Experience</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Marketing & Events Associate, Coordinator, Assistant, or similar role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and SEM.</li><li>Experience with graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).</li><li>Excellent writing and editing skills </li><li>Data analysis and reporting experience, with knowledge of Google Analytics and social media insights.</li><li>Experience planning and executing events, including logistics and vendor management.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Attributes</b></p><ul><li>Strong organizational and project management skills.</li><li>Creative thinker with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
