You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain engines, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on recreational and commercial vessels. Your expertise will ensure peak performance for our clients' boats, and your problem-solving skills will keep our marina running smoothly. If you're passionate about precision and love the water, this is your opportunity to make a splash</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Diagnose and repair diesel & gas engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components with precision.</li><li>Install, maintain, and troubleshoot vessel equipment, including cooling and lubrication systems.</li><li>Perform high-quality repairs, addressing both major and minor mechanical issues.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while adhering to Occupational Health and Safety standards.</li><li>Complete work orders, timecards, and maintenance reports accurately and promptly.</li><li>Stay current on marine technologies and repair techniques through ongoing learning.</li><li>Collaborate with the team to enhance operations and deliver exceptional customer service.</li><li>Cross-train on additional marina functions as needed.</li></ul><p>What We're Looking For</p><ul><li>Experience: 3+ years as a ticketed Heavy-Duty Mechanic; marine experience is a strong asset.</li><li>Skills: Expertise in hydraulics, electrical systems (12/24/110 volt), schematics, and diagnostics.</li><li>Certifications: Journeyman, Marine Mechanic, or Heavy-Duty Mechanic certification preferred.
