Position: Manufacturing Engineer


Location: Vaughan, ON

Industry: Manufacturing/ HVAC/ Engineering


Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues and defects.
  • Provide technical support to production teams and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in the field.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Post Secondary education in Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Must be proficient in hands-on process troubleshooting.
  • Excellent computer and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge in manufacturing setting an asset.
  • Previous electric engineering experience is a definite asset.
  • Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
