  • Develop and implement inventory tracking systems to optimize inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze current demand and propose optimal inventory pull quantities from manufacturers.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Inventory Management System (IMS) and ensure proper documentation of all inventory movements.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments and collaborate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure all orders are accurately packed and dispatched.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any logistics issues that arise during the shipping process.
  • Prepare all necessary shipping and customs documentation.

Demand Planning and Procurement:

  • Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast future inventory needs.
  • Propose and place purchase orders based on demand planning insights.
  • Monitor the flow of inventory and production schedules to ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to manage lead times and ensure timely replenishment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems (IMS) and other relevant software tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and forecast demand accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience in coordinating LTL shipments and working with warehouse operations.

Who you are:

  • A highly organized and detail-oriented professional who thrives on creating seamless systems and processes.
  • Passionate about efficiency and ensuring every aspect of inventory and logistics runs smoothly.
  • Analytical and data-driven, using metrics to forecast demand, plan inventory, and measure success.
  • A proactive problem-solver, capable of troubleshooting logistics issues and finding innovative solutions.
  • Collaborative and communicative, comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Dependable and resourceful, eager to take ownership of your role and contribute to the success of a growing business.
