Click here !</p><h3>Your Next Challenge</h3><p>The Manager, Communications Ontario will support Agnico Eagle’s Ontario Region through the development and implementation of a robust integrated communications strategy to ensure Agnico Eagle is positioned as the employer and partner of choice in Northern Ontario. This role will support all internal and external communications for the Ontario Region, working closely with key Corporate stakeholders. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.</p><ul><li>Oversee the development and implementation of effective communications strategies, policies and plans for the Ontario Region.</li><li>Maintain a clear understanding of business objectives and priorities through active involvement with key management to assure appropriate linkage of business strategies and communications issues.</li><li>Oversee the development and execution of integrated communication platforms, including a Regional specific intranet and website, print publications, newsletters and social media channels.</li><li>Lead the organization of Ontario Region employee, community, and special events.</li><li>Ensure that communication and event information and issues are conveyed to the Ontario Leadership Team.</li><li>Work at advancing the Company’s brand identity and broad awareness of Agnico Eagle’s programs, reputation, and culture within Northern Ontario.</li><li>Guide the Ontario Region’s approach and response during crisis situations, working closely with the Ontario Leadership Team, operations, legal and HR.</li><li>Develop and regularly report on key indicators to highlight the impact of strategy and measure the effectiveness of all internal and external communication and outreach programs.</li></ul><h3>What you need to succeed</h3><ul><li>Minimum of ten years in a senior level Communications role, preferably within the mining or industrial sectors;</li><li>Experience developing strategies and initiatives to create a positive relationship and brand with a variety of internal and external stakeholders;</li><li>A solid understanding of the social acceptability issues facing the mining industry locally and nationally;</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to lead complex projects and priorities with a calm, focused and flexible attitude;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to shift priorities quickly and manage tight deadlines;</li><li>Exceptional level of English written and oral communications;</li><li>Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office. Occasional visits to site may also be required.</li></ul></p>
