This role is not about holding a titleit&#39;s about transforming practices, building leaderlevel professionals, and ensuring seamless operations for increasingly complex property portfolios.</p><p><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop the client accounting team to deliver accuracy, accountability, and excellence in financial reporting.</li><li>Drive process improvements: optimize the use of Yardi, streamline close cycles, automate reporting, and standardize procedures</li><li>Present clear and strategic financial insight in Board meetings and client discussions.</li><li>Oversee preparation and review of financial statements across condominium, residential, and commercial properties</li><li>Identify training needs and promote professional development: mentorship, cross-training, professional designations (CPA, CMA), and formal development plans</li><li>Serve as a visible change leaderwith operational collaboration across property and regional teams.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What Were Looking For</p><p>Required:</p><ul><li>CPA, CMA, CA (or equivalent) in good standing.</li><li>5+ years in progressive leadership roles in property management accounting or commercial real estate finance</li><li>Strong background with property accounting software (preferably Yardi) and cloud-based financial systems.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation abilities for both internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Proven track record of process improvement and coaching accounting professionals.</li></ul><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li>Experience handling complex portfolios (mixed-use, commercial, amenities-rich properties).</li><li>Prior exposure to automation, centralized workflows, or scale-up environments.</li></ul><p>Passion for developing otherswith real success stories in mentoring or team building.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>If you are an experienced accounting professional with aCPA designation and a passion for leadership and financial management in the property sector, we would love to hear from you!
