Position: CNC Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Direct Reports: None
Summary
The successful candidate will be able to perform a variety of operations to maintain CNC machines and oversee the maintenance of the whole facility. This individual should have 5-7 years of CNC or comparable maintenance experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and service CNC Machining equipment and perform general machine repairs
- Familiar with Controls such as Fanuc and Siemens controls
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance including daily oil, grease and filter checks, top ups and replacements.
- Perform facility repairs and general maintenance including lights changes outdoor repairs and maintenance
- Control maintenance tools, equipment
- Understand the health and safety act and regulations
Work Conditions
- Reports to Maintenance Technician Supervisor
- Physically capable of machine repair in a machine shop environment.
- Safety equipment, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
- Overtime as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma, completion of applicable trade school, or an equivalent related experience.
- Certified Millwright preferred
- Experience with machining as it relates to machine tool capabilities and requirements
- Trouble shooting and repair capabilities in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic
