<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>JOB TITLE: Maintenance Mechanic</p><p>DEPARTMENT: Production</p><p>LOCATION: Burlington, Ontario</p><p>TRAVEL: No</p><p>Canada Brick is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing facility in Burlington, Ontario. Canada Brick is a subsidiary of General Shale Brick, North America’s largest manufacturer of clay bricks and other masonry materials.</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong></p><ul><li>Repair and troubleshoot mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics and conveying systems.</li><li>Read blueprints, schematics, and welding procedures.</li><li>Assist and work alongside all members of the Production Department.</li><li>Assist the Production Department with job changes.</li><li>Lubricates Kiln Car wheels and assists on bearing or wheel changes.</li><li>Actively participates in maintenance shutdowns scheduled or unscheduled overtime will be required at times.</li><li>Work in a safe and efficiently manner, according to company policies.</li><li>Monitors Dust Collector system.</li><li>Actively supports other crewmembers, when required.</li><li>Reports Maintenance requests to the Supervisor and/or Lead Hands</li></ul><p></p><ol></ol><p><strong>WORK EXPERIENCE: </strong></p><ul><li>4+ years Maintenance Mechanic experience.</li><li>Conveying, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical, Pipefitting, Welding and Plumbing skills.</li><li>An understanding of PLC and VFD System. </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>EDUCATION: </strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma / Maintenance Trade Courses.</li></ul><p></p><p>Canada Brick offers a comprehensive benefits package, including, but not limited to: Medical, Dental, Vision, Pension Plan, Life Insurance and Vacation plans.</p><p></p><p>An Equal Opportunity Employer</p><p></p><p>M/F/D/V</p></p></p>
