Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Position</strong>: Machinists.</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Orillia, ON.</p><p><strong>Pay Rate: </strong>$33 per hour.</p><p><strong>Industry: </strong>Manufacturing / Production / Foundry / Industrial.</p><p><strong>Employment Term: </strong>Fulltime / Permanent.</p><p><strong>Shift</strong>: Rotating Shift; Day, Evening and Overnight on a two-week rotation.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Roles & Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Set up and operate all manual machines as per company SOP.</li><li>Operate machines to meet required tolerances and meet product specifications and standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve all machining issues, as incurred.</li><li>Maintain safety as priority.</li><li>Other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong>:</p><ul><li>Machinist Apprenticeship Certification is preferred, Red Seal consider an asset.</li><li>4 years related Machinists experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Previous experience in a manufacturing / fabrication environment.</li><li>Proficient in the use of common precision measuring tools – Vernier, micrometer bore gauges etc.</li><li>Good hand-eye coordination.</li><li>Able to work a 3-shift rotation.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Notes:</strong> We thank all candidates for their time.
