We are currently seeking askilled and reliable Machinist Horizontal Boring Mill Operatorto join our growing team.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have experience operatinglarge horizontal boring mills (manual or CNC)to machine precision parts to tight tolerances. We're looking for someone with:

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate horizontal boring mills to produce custom, high-precision components
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints
- Select proper tooling and machining parameters for a variety of materials
- Ensure parts meet tight tolerances using precision measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of machining experience, preferably withhorizontal boring mills
- Experience withlarge/heavy partsandoverhead crane operationis an asset
- Strong understanding of machining practices, setups, and blueprint reading
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
