<p>PLEASE APPLY ONLY ON COMPANY WEBSITE: </p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Direct traffic at or near construction sites</p></li><li><p>Perform routine maintenance work</p></li><li><p>A valid forklift and Occupational First Aid Level One certificates are assets.</p></li><li><p>Must be trained and have experience on the following equipment: Forklifts, zoom booms, scissor lifts, and bobcat.</p></li><li><p>Must have knowledge of Work Safe BC Regulations.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience within an Equipment Operator capacity is required.</p></li><li><p>Must have considerable applicable equipment operation experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.</p></li><li><p>Must have a demonstrated ability to operate all equipment safely and effectively.</p></li></ul><p>Other duties as required:</p><ul><li><p>Load, unload and transport construction materials</p></li><li><p>Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades</p></li><li><p>Mix, pour and spread materials</p></li><li><p>Assist in framing, and erecting walls</p></li><li><p>Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites</p></li></ul><p>Experience.<br>A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry is required.</p><p>What We Are Looking For</p><ul><li><p>Professional attitude and a safety-first work ethic</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently or as part of a team</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication in English required</p></li><li><p>Good mathematical skills</p></li><li><p>BC Driver's license</p></li><li><p>Authorization to work in Canada</p></li></ul><p>Full-time position with an 8-hour shift.</p><p>Workdays from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work as project demands dictate.</p><p>Working Conditions</p><ul><li><p>Working at heights</p></li><li><p>Exposure to cold/hot weather. Appropriate dress required for weather conditions</p></li><li><p>Exposure to noise, dust, pollution</p></li><li><p>Exposure to hazards such as heights, power tools, slips, falls, falling objects, sharp hand tools</p></li><li><p>Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time</p></li><li><p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</p></li></ul>
