Machine Operator
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Works under direction of Supervisor
· Operates automated machinery to perform a specific process to a part
· Adjusts tool offsets and checks for part quality
· Performs minor troubleshooting of machine cycles
· Performs routine job changeovers
· Applies close mental and visual attention involving detailed work
· Minimizes scrap and rework
· Works safely avoiding lost time injuries
· Accurately reports jobs via JobBoss
OTHER DUTIES:
The role is generally limited to the above, however, from time to time other non-customary duties may be required to be performed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
Education – High School and relevant experience
Other Requirements – Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
SPECIAL DEMANDS:
Requires close visual attention to detail. Handles medium to heavy materials. Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
