Machine Learning Engineering Intern

Join our dynamic team as a Machine Learning Software Engineer (Recent Grad) and be a key contributor to our cutting-edge industrial projects. You’ll be an integral part of AutoMetrics, working on the core AI software suite that enables real-time process monitoring, analytics, and machine learning components. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a senior team, gaining valuable experience in product development and support activities.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Conduct testing on machine learning and analytical models and software for diverse projects with unique requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the software development team on deployments, encompassing both on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Prepare visualizations and create professional documentation to effectively communicate insights.
• Stay current with the latest developments in data science and machine learning by reviewing literature and aligning with project scopes.
• Critically analyze, test, and implement advanced analytical models.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in classification models, including KNN and SVM.
• Thorough understanding of fundamental models such as random forest and artificial neural networks (ANN).
• Experience working as part of an ML/AI development team or project.
• Ability to organize thoughts, present ideas, and communicate complex concepts effectively.
• Proficiency in Python and basic knowledge of software development; familiarity with other languages is a plus.
• Strong background in mathematics and an analytical, curious mindset are essential.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: NLP, DL, CNN, or RNN..
