Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

<p>We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our client to manage shipments, logistics, and timely delivery across their operations.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul><li>Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations from order to delivery.</li><li>Arrange transportation for inbound and outbound shipments, including booking carriers and preparing necessary documentation.</li><li>Track shipments, address delays, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and invoices.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers.</li><li>Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business needs.</li><li>Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Handle and resolve issues related to damaged goods, delays, or transportation errors.</li><li>Maintain logistics reports, KPIs, and records in company systems.</li></ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul><li>Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).</li><li>Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.</li><li>Strong knowledge of shipping processes, freight regulations, and documentation.</li><li>Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.</li><li>Effective communication and negotiation skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</li></ul>
