You’ll join our agile team of SEO experts to identify strategies, techniques and tactics intended to increase the number of visitors to our Dieselmatic Partners’ websites.

The SEO team works to acquire a high-ranking placement on the results page of search engines.As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and implementing websites that are optimized to be picked up by search engines. The SEO Specialist will conduct various testing methods in design, layout and advertising techniques to gain the most organic traffic.Why are we hiring an SEO Specialist?The ultimate purpose of the SEO Specialist is to identify, refine, implement and monitor SEO processes to continually optimize ranking for our rapidly growing Partner (client) list of diesel truck repair shops throughout Canada and the USA.Primary ObjectivesSEO SpecificTechnical SEO – Identify, monitor and fix technical SEO issues that are impacting our website’s crawl-ability and search engine ranking.

Also, implementing proactive alerts to identify issues that might impact website performancesOnPage SEO: Intensive understanding of all factors that contribute to OnPage SEO – Optimize website content, meta descriptions, title tags, and images for target keywords, schema, 401s. Ensure our websites adhere to technical SEO best practices for optimal crawling and indexing by search engines.Keyword Research and Strategy: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant keywords that will drive qualified traffic to our Partner’s sites.

Stay on top of the latest keyword research trends and search engine algorithmsLocal SEO – Fundamental technical understanding of local SEO and what are the different factors responsible for website performance and Google Business Profile (GBP) performance to enhance local conversions. An understanding of citation building, local schema setup, and location page structures is an assetLocal Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth local keyword research to identify high-intent, location-specific keywords that will attract potential customers searching for nearby businesses.

Stay on top of local search trends and algorithm updates, especially those from Google Business Profile (GBP).Claim, optimize, and manage Google Business Profile listings for our Partners. Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency across all platforms and directories.

Citation Building: Build high-quality citations for our Partners across local directories, review platforms, and industry-specific websites. Utilize citation-building tools to streamline the process and track progress.Local SEO Analytics and Reporting: Track local SEO performance metrics like local keyword rankings, website traffic, GBP insights, and customer reviews.

Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and demonstrate the value of your SEO efforts to Partners.SEO Analytics and Reporting: Track website traffic, keyword rankings, and other SEO metrics using SEO tools like Google Search Console and SEMrush. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and measure the success of SEO campaigns.SEO Trends: Keep up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and best practices.
