We are a local family company who operate multiple Church’s Texas Chicken restaurants around the GTA. We are looking for hardworking, positive, and energetic individuals who are committed to maintaining integrity and providing a high standard of service to our customers.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED preferred

· Food service/cooking experience preferred, but not required

· Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.

· Ability to understand and follow direction from others

· Ability to read and follow recipes and replicate food production procedures

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment

· Comfortable working on your feet for full shift

· Reliable and hard-working

Responsibilities:

· Prepare food in adherence with Church’s specific recipes and protocols

· Pay attention to food safety and sanitation standards

· Manage food preparation to deliver fresh order on time

· Work at multiple food stations and collaborate effectively with other team members

· Serve guests in a positive and professional manner

· Maintain strict safety and sanitation standards throughout kitchen station and other restaurant areas (dining area, bathrooms, etc.)

· Assist cashiers when needed to take orders, and communicate with guests

· Maintain solid product knowledge

· Effectively resolve customer complaints

· Assist in training new Team Members

· Follow the company’s security and safety procedures

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of weight frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally

· Ability to handle product preparation throughout shift

· Consistently be on your feet during a shift

· Frequently lift and bend for product preparation, stocking and inventory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Every Weekend
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
