<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>The Lighting Energy Analyst exposes the employee/candidate to the lighting industry as a niche specialty. Advancement opportunities exist with this role which will gradually introduce the employee to project coordination and management, and lighting specification and design.</p><p></p><p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Conducting of on site assessments of existing premises focused on existing lighting systems.</li><li>Measurement of existing achieved light levels.</li><li>Examination of lighting controls.</li><li>Assisting with calculations of base line electrical loading.</li><li>Lighting specific training provided.</li><li>Typical weekly assignment will follow a 3 days field, 2 days office work.</li><li>Primary tool sets are developed on MS Excel database.</li><li>Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle arrive at office.</li><li>Able to travel throughout the province and country to meet audit/assessment requirements.</li><li>Managing client accounts:</li><li>Coordinating schedules, communicating project progress, assisting with documents and processes.</li><li>Maintain various documents and that the information is accurate and up to date.</li><li>Respond to emails to address clients concerns and project issues.</li></ul><p></p><p>SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Strong oral and written English communication skills, with a capacity to write formal technical report.</li><li>Strong mathematical skill set is beneficial.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and interact with staff at various levels of the organization.</li><li>Ability to use MS Office suite, especially, Word, Excel and Project.</li><li>Preferred: Familiarity of ASHRAE Level 2 auditing and report requirements.</li><li>Preferred: Ability to read and interpret line and construction drawings.</li><li>Preferred: Pre-existing knowledge base of general lighting systems.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Technologist, Interior Design or Applied Science from a University or College of recognized standing.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>*** This posting is for an existing vacancy***</p></p></p>
