We’re CCR Building and Remodeling (http://www.ccrbuilding.com/) , an award-winning, London-based renovation company known for our creative carpentry, design, and build initiatives. For over 30 years, we’ve worked with customers to mould their dreams into reality.   As our new Lead Carpenter, your responsibilities will include:   * Completing carpentry work on our job sites from start to finish, including trim, framing, and drywall * Reviewing job plans, documents, and checklists pre-construction and coordinating materials and resources needed to complete jobs * Building per drawing and project plan specifications * Directing and delegating work to other on-site labourers for timely completion of projects * Maintaining highest quality of workmanship and safety standards on-site * Site clean up   Working with CCR Building and Remodeling   We’re a friendly, family-oriented team. We do a lot of teambuilding activities – archery tag, meals out, barbecues, golf tournaments, hockey games, parties, monthly health and safety breakfast meetings, and more!   Qualifications   * 5+ years carpentry experience, with experience in the remodeling trades * Experience supervising/managing renovation projects * Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and layouts * Valid driver’s license and good driving record * Basic carpentry tools (hand tools, skill saw, levels, squares, drills, hammer drill, nailers, ladders) * Completion of any of the following certifications/training is an asset: fall arrest, WHMIS, first aid * Red Seal Carpentry certification is a plus but not required   We’re looking for a responsible leader – someone with excellent attention to detail, who will take ownership of our projects, and who our customers can trust to do the right thing.   How to Apply    Our online application helps determine if this job is a good fit for you.
