JP Paving Stones & Landscaping Inc. (Business address 512 Larch Place, Canmore, AB, T1W 1R9,<BR>Canada) is seeking a Landscape Labourer.<BR><BR>Working conditions:<BR>Wage: $27.00 per hour<BR>Full-time, year-round position<BR>Working location: Various work locations in the Bow Valley<BR>30 - 44 hours per week<BR>Overtimes are paid at 1,5 rate for hours exceeding 44 hours in any given week;<BR>4% vacation paid by-weekly.<BR><BR>Duties:<BR> Assist with installing patios, walkways, driveways, lawns, decks, and retaining walls.<BR> Measure, cut, and lay paving stones and natural stone on various surface, such as patios, walkways, ponds, water features, retaining walls.<BR> Measure and cut timber for the install of fences.<BR> Dig holes and pour concrete for the install of fence posts.<BR> Heavy rock lifting, shoveling, wheel-barrowing and raking.<BR> Laying sod; seeding using appropriate lawn seed mixes.<BR> Support excavation work and site preparation for landscaping projects.<BR> Plant and arrange trees, shrubs, flowers, and other softscape elements, such as groundcover with all proper tools.<BR> Install and ensure proper operation of irrigation systems.<BR> Hauling material from and to the jobsite.<BR> Loading and unloading machinery for use at the jobsite<BR> Remove snow during winter months using trucks with plows for driveways and parking lots.<BR> Keep job sites clean and safe while protecting existing landscapes during snow removal.<BR> Apply de-icing products like calcium chloride or rock salt appropriately.<BR> Inspect and repair landscaping tools during the winter season.<BR><BR>Requirements:<BR>Languages: English<BR>Education: High School<BR>Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Landscape Labourer or similar occupation.
