Duties

• Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety of our guests.
• Support cooks and chefs in various kitchen tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
• Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of any shortages.
• Participate in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are crucial for success in this role.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A passion for cooking and meal preparation is highly desirable.

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 17.20 per week
