Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
• Support cooks and chefs during meal preparation by following instructions and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety standards.
• Help with stocking supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of kitchen supplies.
• Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts to ensure a sanitary work environment.

Skills

• Experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Familiarity with food handling and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced cooks or chefs.
