Key Account Executive

As a Key Account Executive at Kellanova, you are responsible for leading the development and growth of our Snacks portfolio. Craft and negotiate full-year business plans that promote products like Eggo Waffles to shoppers. We’re looking for you to merge your business-building creativity with your financial acumen, delivering key revenue targets within an allocated trade spending budget. Enjoy being at the center of a team of peers that helps you earn customers’ trust as you share your market-leading expertise across supply chain, shopper marketing and category management. This is a hybrid role based out of our Mississauga head office.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with stakeholders across multiple functions and communicate progress and requirements needed to optimize the corporate playbook within the customer’s business environment.
Relationship Management – Build strong relationships and organizational understanding both within the Kellanova Canada business as well as that of the customer’s business with a focus to synergize the two together to meet and/or exceed business targets.
Date Utilization – Review and analyze the business using Nielsen and shopper data to develop business solutions and growth strategies.
Budgeting and Forecasting – You are responsible for planning and investing the trade spend dollars to achieve brand activations at the retailer and actively manage the accuracy and efficiency of those investments.
We’re Looking for Someone With
Post Secondary education in relevant field or equivalent.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with experience in negotiation.
Experience in direct selling at retail store level and introductory level customer head office, preferably in Retail Packaged Goods.
Strong analytical skills combined with well-developed organization and interpersonal capability.
Strong knowledge of MS software and customized systems with solid financial acumen.
