Our member is seeking a highly motivated, Red Seal Journeyman Electrician who thrives in both team and independent settings. Our team members are our greatest asset, and we are committed to supporting their growth.</li></ul><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul><li><em>Electrical Installations & Repairs: </em>Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance in compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.</li><li><em>Troubleshooting: </em>Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently, applying your expertise and problem-solving skills.</li><li><em>Project Execution:</em> Lead and manage installations for residential and commercial projects, ensuring work is done on time and within budget.</li><li><em>Customer Service:</em> Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and urgency.</li><li><em>Team Collaboration:</em> Work alongside team members and project managers to ensure project success, and mentor apprentices, fostering a collaborative environment.</li><li><em>Technology Use: </em>Utilize time-tracking platforms and maintain accurate records of materials used, ensuring all work is documented.</li><li><em>Safety & Quality: </em>Inspect electrical systems for safety hazards, conduct tests, and ensure high-quality, safe installations.</li><li><em>Job Status Updates:</em> Communicate regularly with management about job progress, ensuring transparency and efficient project tracking.</li></ul><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br /><ul><li><em>Certification: </em>Must hold a valid Red Seal Electrician License (309A).</li><li><em>Experience:</em> Minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential and commercial electrical work. Experience with solar or specialized systems is a plus.</li><li><em>Knowledge:</em> Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and components.</li><li><em>Skills: </em>Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics; strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented and strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li><em>License: </em>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.</li><li><em>Physical Requirements:</em> Ability to work in diverse environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and at heights.</li><li><em>Safety Requirements:</em> Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.</li><li><em>Tools: </em>Personal hand tools and battery-operated drills/impact drivers required.</li></ul><strong>Please note, only qualified candidates will be contacted.</strong></p></p>
