<p>Job Summary<br><br>We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in a dealership setting being highly desirable. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service.</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.</li><li>Utilize hand tools and power tools to conduct repairs, including welding when necessary.</li><li>Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to determine the best course of action for repairs.</li><li>Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repair or replacement.</li><li>Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they become serious issues.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.</li><li>Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle parts and equipment as required.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a dealership environment.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.</li><li>Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.</li><li>Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.</li><li>Familiarity with automotive schematics and assembly processes is preferred.</li><li>A valid driver's license is required for this position.
