<p>LOCATION REQUIREMENT - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING</p><p>This position requires living within 150km of Alexis, AB (Stony Plain/Edmonton area). Daily travel to customer sites means you must be local. We cannot consider applicants from Calgary, other provinces, or outside this radius.</p><p>About us</p><p>Applicant must be currently residing in Alberta.</p><p>Role and Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Travel to customer sites and provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.</li><li>Climbing ladders both indoors and outside</li><li>Punctual, reliable, professional</li><li>Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals</li><li>Set up and maintain user accounts and access permissions</li><li>Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely resolution to IT-related issues</li><li>Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups</li><li>Collaborate with team members to identify and implement IT improvements</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role</li><li>Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, operating systems, and computer hardware</li><li>Experience in providing IT support and desktop support</li><li>Proficient in software troubleshooting and resolving technical issues</li><li>Familiarity with macOS and Linux is a plus</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Knowledge of help desk ticketing systems (e.g., Remedy) is a plus</li><li>Reliable</li><li>Able to lift 50lbs</li><li>Physically fit to work indoors and outdoors</li><li>Use of hand tools</li><li>Criminal record check.</li></ul><p>Must have a reliable vehicle as travel is required.</p><p>A criminal record check must be provided prior to commencement of employment at no cost to Wanusa Ltd.</p><p>If you are a tech-savvy professional with a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's computer systems.
