Job Description

BATH FITTER, North America's leading bathtub remodeler is seeking an Installation Technician. The ideal candidate is both a skillful renovator and a brand ambassador. In this position you bring an incredible work ethic and commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience. You have a proven aptitude for renovations and embrace interacting with the customer to ensure that the installation meets the customers satisfaction. You will be serving Edmonton and surrounding areas (within 1.5 hour drive).

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize trade skills such as carpentry, trim carpentry and construction to remodel bathtub/shower/wet area (Complete Training Provided)
  • Adhere to all BATH FITTER installation standards and procedures while performing installations and/or providing services.(Complete Training Provided)
  • Present a professional image, neat in appearance, observing rules of good grooming and hygiene. (Uniform Supplied)
  • Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with internal and external customers
  • Inform customers about the functionality, care and upkeep of their new installations.
  • Respect customers' property and leave the work area clean at the end of the day.
  • Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork and photos.
  • Take inventory of installation van, keep stocked with all necessary tools and job components and take responsible for the security of the van
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Attend and participate in regular branch and/or training sessions
  • Regular Attendance and punctuality is required
  • Professionally and accurately represent the BATH FITTER brand and its products at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Possess 2+ years of carpentry and/or trim carpentry and renovation experience required, with the ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level and combination square
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to use power tools (jigsaw, drill etc.)
  • Basic plumbing knowledge preferable
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • The physical demands of the Installer are constantly medium work. Occasionally includes medium/heavy work moving objects up to 100 pounds. (Frequently or constantly standing, occasionally sitting, bending, and twisting)
  • Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
