Starting as a Service organization focused on maintaining Emergency Standby Generators, we have grown to an organization that provides end to end Generator and Engine solutions.</p><p>Our experienced Service technicians are thoroughly trained on maintenance and repair for natural gas-and-diesel powered engines and generators, transfer switches, and fuel systems. Also in the field, we have a projects team that supports our customers’ needs for turnkey generator and fuel system installations. Our solutions are cost effective and leverage our field experience to ensure our customers receive a solution that works.</p><p>Genrep is positioned for significant growth, and we are currently looking for experienced<strong> Inside Sales Representative </strong>to identify, manage, and close on new business opportunities for our Power Product Business. You will help evolve our Sales culture through your technical knowledge, high energy, and sales hunter approach.</p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Business development activities exploring and identifying new market opportunities.</li><li>Develop dealer network to support the assigned products, brands and/or OEMs.</li><li>Originate and establish new customer accounts.</li><li>Primary customer interface for the organization as the customer champion.</li><li>Instill a sense of urgency within the organization for meeting your customer needs.</li><li>Occasional new business sales hunting on the road and over the phone.</li><li>Liaise with multiple parties to acquire and distribute information.</li><li>Ensure excellent customer service by troubleshooting and responding to customer inquiries.</li><li>Build internal Genrep relationships with department stakeholders and delegate appropriately amongst the internal team, in an effort to efficiently achieve Genrep volume and income objectives.</li><li>Uphold a strong safety culture, perform duties in a safe and effective manner and following all Genrep, provincial and federal safety standards and guidelines.</li><li>Manage multiple priorities in an energetic, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Promote a safe, friendly and cooperative work environment.</li><li>Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with other Genrep teams, customers and customer representatives.</li><li>Follow and uphold all company policies and procedures.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Work Hours:</strong> Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm</p><p><strong>Job Location:</strong> Waterdown, On</p><p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Manager, Power Products</p><p> </p><p><strong>Desired Skill, Knowledge, and Experience: </strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated industry experience of minimum 3 years in Industrial Sale is required as well as previous success in a sales hunter role.</li><li>A high level of energy with a proven ‘hunter’ approach to sales execution.</li><li>Post-secondary education with a diploma/degree in business management, marketing or engineering.</li><li>Outstanding business acumen with an ability to work with all levels of the organization.</li><li>Experience in the Generator and/or Engines industry is required.</li><li>Strong leadership skills, you are not afraid to challenge and provide your opinion using an influential and collaborative approach.</li><li>Exceptional team player with ability to build and develop teams.</li><li>Goal oriented, energetically focusing efforts towards meeting priority objectives.</li><li>Must hold a valid G Class driver’s licence with access to reliable transportation.</li><li>Must be willing to travel.</li><li>Ability to meet expected business deadlines through highly developed organization, time-management and multi-tasking skills.</li><li>A commitment to safety.</li><li>Computer proficiency with a thorough knowledge of MS Office is required.</li></ul><p>If you are interested in this <strong>Inside Sales</strong> <strong>Representative</strong> position, please send us your resume and we will be in contact directly.</p><p>Thank you and we look forward to working with you!</p><p> </p><p><em>Genrep LTD/LTEE is an Equal Opportunity Employer which values workplace diversity and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
