Inside Sales Account Manager

Job Description

A regional metals distribution and processing company that serves customers across Canada with a variety of metal products and related services is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients, handling inbound sales inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customer base. You will work closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer requests, while also identifying new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide detailed product information and technical support to customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to resolve any customer issues or concerns.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand our customer base.
  • Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.


Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in an inside sales, customer service, or account management role on a related industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales-related tools.
  • Knowledge of the metals distribution and production industry or a related field is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related technical Certificate is preferred.
