Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with a solid background in IT infrastructure and a proven track record in Reporting and Data Management. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience with a focus on enhancing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to meet the organization’s current and future needs. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and reliability of our IT systems contributing significantly to our operational efficiency and success.

What will you do?

• Analyze and evaluate current IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and integration.
• Develop and implement strategies for the optimization of IT infrastructure to support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the effective deployment and operation of IT systems and services.
• Manage and coordinate the maintenance upgrade and support of IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Lead initiatives for the adoption of new technologies that enhance IT infrastructure efficiency and performance.
• Ensure compliance with data management and reporting standards contributing to the integrity and security of company data.
• Monitor IT infrastructure performance making recommendations for improvement and optimization.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance in the planning and execution of IT projects.
• Facilitate training and development sessions for IT staff on new technologies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends in IT infrastructure management.

Must Have:

• Candidate must possess at least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and optimization.
• Strong background in Reporting and Data Management is required.
• Experience with Microfocus UCMDB Microfocus SM and Microfocus Asset Manager is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and completing IT projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and embrace new IT infrastructure innovations.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Ontario.
