<p>LeverageTek is actively seeking an IT Project Manager (System Modernization) for a 12-month contract position with its Ottawa-based customer.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Work Location</strong></p><p>Remote</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Tasks</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the planning through to execution on the implementation of a new software version, which will also include identifying, assessing, and delivering new functionality (e.g., virtual screening – transition to Cloud)</li><li>Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for all three components.</li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, vendor, and operations stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep the project on track.</li><li>Lead vendor coordination efforts for cloud migration and application upgrades.</li><li>Oversee pilot testing and evaluation of virtual screening functionality, including gathering user feedback and performance metrics.</li><li>Prepare and deliver regular project updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards throughout the project lifecycle.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Extensive background leading major system implementations within highly regulated environments</li><li>Skilled in requirements gathering, analysis, and assessment</li><li>Proven vendor management expertise</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience leading complex IT or healthcare-related projects, particularly involving software upgrades and cloud migrations.</li><li>Strong understanding of AWS-hosted systems and vendor-managed platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with clinical screening processes is a strong asset.</li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Healthcare or related industry background</li><li>PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p> </p><p><strong>About LeverageTek Staffing Solutions</strong></p><p>Thank you for taking the time to apply!
