Responsibilities:


  • In-depth knowledge of computer troubleshooting.
  • Training end-users on hardware functionality and software/application programs.
  • Resolving reported or logged issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
  • Updating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems.
  • Ensuring secure and stable network connectivity and testing network protocols.
  • Installing and configuring firewall devices, mainly FortiGate.
  • Installing, updating, and configuring LAN and WAN networks.
  • Configuring and supporting multi-function printers.
  • Troubleshooting and supporting CCTV security systems.
  • Running diagnostic tests and performing repairs, as well as developing backup, archiving, and data retrieval procedures.
  • Providing remote or onsite technical support.
  • Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
  • Determining company needs and coordinating the development and maintenance of network infrastructures with the IT team.

Required candidate Details:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT support and network specialist.
  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ability to assess IT needs and train end-users.
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of information/system security.
  • Ability to stay updated with technical innovations and trends in IT support.
  • Expertise in Firewall configurations (FortiGate); Cisco Certification is an advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of network connectivity, technologies, IT audit protocols, and security.
  • Willingness to travel to other BLS office locations.
  • Availability to provide support outside of regular business hours.
