Job Description

<p>Our client, in the steel manufacturing industry, is seeking Packagers to join their team supporting industrial packaging.  You will be responsible for meeting customer specific packaging requirements with emphasis on measurement, quality control and finished product inspection<span ><span >. </span></span>The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and initiative to progress.<br>

<p><strong>Location: Hamilton, ON</strong></p>

<p><strong>Pay Range:</strong> $25 per hour</p>

<p><strong>Shift:</strong> rotating 12-hour continental shift schedule </p>

<p><strong>What's the Job?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Package steel coils and sheets in an industrial flat-rolled steel production environment
<li>Meet customer-specific packaging requirements with emphasis on measurement, quality control, and finished product inspection
<li>Operate packaging equipment with hands-on mechanical ability
<li>Ensure safety protocols are followed during all packaging activities
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area 
</ul>

<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
<li>Strong attention to detail , quality standards and measurement
<li>Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
</ul>
