Applicants must be a member in good standing with UA local 787 and hold a valid <strong>313A Refrigeration Journeyman Designation or currently enrolled in 313A Apprenticeship.</strong></p><p><strong>Salary & Benefits include:</strong></p><ul><li>$80.84 per hour package</li><li>Union Benefits</li><li>Full Time</li><li>Company Vehicle</li></ul><p><strong>As our HVAC Service Technician you: </strong></p><ul><li>Perform installations of HVAC equipment and systems</li><li>Identify, troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and/or failures to HVAC equipment</li><li>Plan and perform routinely scheduled preventative maintenance to HVAC equipment and systems identifying any issues and recommending resolutions</li><li>Complete repairs in a timely manner</li><li>Always makes safety a priority and work in compliance with the provisions of the Act and all regulations</li><li>Support the Service Manager to provide clients with the most efficient solutions</li><li>Facilitate strong relationships with vendors and clients, ensuring Plan Groups strong reputation is maintained</li><li>Available for regular working hours as well as on-call work</li><li>Have a clean drivers abstract and are comfortable commuting through the GTA</li></ul><p><strong>Our ideal candidate has:</strong></p><ul><li>Membership in good standing with the Ontario Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association, the UA local 787</li><li>313A Refrigeration Journeyman Designation or currently enrolled in 313A Apprenticeship.</li><li>G1 Gas license an asset</li><li>WHMIS and Fall Arrest an asset</li><li>Experience in troubleshooting, repairing and installing HVAC systems in small, medium and large commercial buildings</li><li>Good analytical skills and attention to detail a must</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed expectations</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li></ul></p></p>
