<p>Job Summary<br><br>We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently. The Host/Host will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of the restaurant while providing exceptional hospitality.</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.</li><li>Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize restaurant flow.</li><li>Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.</li><li>Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations or answering inquiries.</li><li>Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.</li><li>Assist in managing waitlists during peak hours, ensuring guests are informed of wait times.</li><li>Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with food service operations is a plus, including restaurant experience.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating an enjoyable dining experience.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>A friendly demeanor and a passion for providing outstanding service to guests.
