Job Summary
How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for ensuring Patient Porter standards are being maintained.

As a Hospital Porter, you will:

Run the daily operations of patient transport
Work collaboratively with other department staff Transports patients to various hospital locations
Timely transportation of patients for their appointments
Responds to Emergency Codes as assigned or required
Assists, lifts and positions patients to and from transport equipment
Responsible for the safety and well-being of the patient while in transit
If required, remains with the patient during examination/treatment procedures
Available to work flexible hours to meet hospital’s needs
Other duties as assigned


About you:

Healthcare experience
Respond to customer requests in a friendly and professional manner
Capable to stoop, kneel, bend freely and lift up to 50 lbs
Computer related skills
Adaptability and flexibility in learning style.
