<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Home Renovation Expert <br /></strong><em>Location:</em> Saskatoon, SK<br /><em>Reporting to:</em> Manager</p><p><strong><em>The Opportunity </em></strong></p><p>As a Home Renovation Expert, you are the multitool on the jobsite - framing, finishing, plumbing basics and the ability to tile like a pro. Guiding projects from start to finish, you won’t be buried in paperwork, stuck at a desk all day. You will be doing the work you love, working on the tools and making sure each job meets the high standards the company is known for. You will work mostly solo on-site, with helpers that will support you with larger projects, but you will manage the site and solve challenges as they arise.</p><p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities </em></strong></p><p>As the Home Renovation Expert, you will work collaboratively and are responsible for:</p><ul><li>Lead all aspects of on-site construction for kitchen, bathroom, and general home renovations, ensuring projects are delivered to high quality standards.</li><li>Interpret and execute blueprints, design plans, and specifications with accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Perform a wide range of skilled carpentry tasks, including framing, cabinetry installation, trim work, flooring, drywall, mudding and taping, plumbing fixture installation, tiling, finishing carpentry, and painting.</li><li>Oversee daily activities on the jobsite, working collaboratively with subcontractors and team members.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.</li><li>Monitor project timelines, provide progress updates, and communicate effectively with clients and project coordinators.</li><li>Proactively identify and resolve on-site challenges with professionalism and a focus on quality outcomes. </li></ul><p><strong><em>Qualifications </em></strong></p><p>As the Home Renovation Expert, you will bring:</p><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential renovations, with a focus on kitchen and bathroom projects preferred.</li><li>Red Seal Carpenter designation is considered an asset.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead on-site work, ensuring quality and efficiency.</li><li>Proficient in a broad range of carpentry skills, including framing, drywall, cabinetry, flooring, tile, trim, and finishing work.</li><li>Strong ability to read, interpret, and execute construction drawings and design specifications.</li><li>Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing is considered an asset.</li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Valid Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation.</li><li>Own set of hand tools however they will provide major tools and equipment.</li></ul><p><strong><em>What We Offer</em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Competitive Compensation</strong> – Wages aligned to your experience, with additional bonus opportunities, RRSP contributions, and profit sharing to reward your success.</li><li><strong>Company Vehicle</strong> – A dedicated work vehicle provided, so you have what you need to get the job done right.</li><li><strong>Steady Schedule</strong> – Monday–Friday work with consistent, year-round projects, so you can count on both stability and work–life balance.</li><li><strong>Growth & Advancement</strong> – Clear pathways to leadership roles and ongoing opportunities to expand your skills and career.</li><li><strong>Meaningful Work</strong> – High-quality, detail-driven projects where your work makes a lasting impact in clients’ homes.</li><li><strong>Supportive Culture</strong> – A positive, inclusive environment where employees feel respected, valued, and part of a community that celebrates success together.</li></ul><p><strong><em>About us</em></strong></p><p>Centennial has been turning Saskatoon houses into dream homes for over 55 years.
