Duties

  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred
  • Knowledge of patient care practices and caregiving techniques
  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor when working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
  • Certification in home care or caregiving is a plus but not required
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
