<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Job Summary:The Senior Healthcare Space Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing space planning strategies for healthcare facilities, ensuring efficient and functional use of space to meet the needs of patients, staff, and visitors.<br><br>The ideal candidate will have a strong background in space planning, healthcare design, and a deep understanding of healthcare regulations and standards in Canada.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate with healthcare clients and project teams to understand space requirements and project objectives.</li><li>Develop space planning strategies and concepts for healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and medical offices.</li><li>Conduct space utilization studies and analyze data to optimize space efficiency and functionality.</li><li>Prepare space plans, layouts, and diagrams using AutoCAD or other relevant software.</li><li>Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including infection control, accessibility, and patient safety.</li><li>Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to integrate space planning with architectural and engineering systems.</li><li>Lead and participate in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to present space plans and gather feedback.</li><li>Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules related to space planning activities.</li><li>Provide expertise and guidance to junior space planning staff members.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to healthcare space planning.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s or Master&#39;s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.</li><li>7+ years of experience in space planning, with a focus on healthcare facilities.</li><li>Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards in Canada.</li><li>Proficiency in space planning software and design tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit.</li><li>Familiarity with building codes and accessibility requirements for healthcare facilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate space planning concepts to clients and project teams.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.</li><li>Understanding of healthcare operations and workflow to inform space planning decisions.</li><li>LEED certification or knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus.</li></ul><p><br />Internal Job Code: PL-HP-04<br />Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000 / Annually</p><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>Ffdi0nG7Tx</p></p></p>
