<h3>GENERAL FUNCTION</h3>
<p>The Hardware Designer will contribute to the development of new products and related activities.</p>
<h3>MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h3>
<ul>
<li>Develops and implements the electronic circuits of new products</li>
<li>Documents the design</li>
<li>Participates in electronic and mechanical design reviews</li>
<li>Works with the low-level software team to bring up electronic boards and battery management algorithms</li>
<li>Develops test plans to ensure production quality</li>
<li>Follows up with HumanWare’s development partners</li>
<li>Oversees product certification work</li>
<li>Ensures the transfer of new products to production</li>
<li>Collaborates with production on product maintenance</li>
<li>Contributes to the execution of Engineering Change Requests</li>
</ul>
<h3>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience) and at least 5 years of experience in circuit design and embedded systems development</li>
<li>Technical skills: Proficiency in electronic design software (Altium is considered an asset), strong interest in new technologies, as well as knowledge and experience in project management (asset).</li>
<li>Behavioral skills: Recognized for teamwork and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and high‑pressure environment. Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Structured, dynamic, and autonomous, adaptable to change, rigorous, and driven by innovation.</li>

<p>Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package.
