This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver warm, welcoming, and professional service to all guests and team members</li><li>Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, following hotel credit and cash handling procedures</li><li>Create, modify, and cancel guest reservations accurately</li><li>Engage with guests throughout their stay, responding to inquiries, special requests, and service needs</li><li>Answer incoming and outgoing calls promptly and professionally</li><li>Resolve guest concerns and complaints in a courteous and timely manner</li><li>Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, daily rates, and local attractions</li><li>Review logbooks, emails, and daily checklists, completing assigned tasks</li><li>Balance and prepare shift paperwork according to hotel standards</li><li>Communicate and collaborate effectively with all hotel departments</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Department Manager</li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Previous customer service experience; hotel front desk experience is preferred</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Maestro or Opera experience is an asset</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a self-motivated approach</li><li>Friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor</li><li>Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in Canada</li></ul><p><strong>About Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport</strong></p><p>Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport is proudly Canada’s first LEED-certified hotel, built green from the ground up.
